LG V20 Will Be the First Phone to Run Android 7.0 Nougat Out-of-the-box

The LG V20 will be the first smartphone running the newest Android 7.0 Nougat OS straight out-of-the-box.

This is a new thing, as usually Google has been releasing Android OS upgrades along with a brand new Nexus phone or tablet. The LG V20 phone is the sequel to LG’s V10 acclaimed model, and it is a premium one, too.

LG V20 has been build around the Android 7.0 requirements, and it will also pack “Vulkan-supported graphics” with Doze enhancements, that should good battery life even during intensive gaming sessions.

The LG V20 with Android 7.0 Nougat should be presented soon and then we will know more about its release date. This new phone should pack a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with 1440 x 2560 resolution, that will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, but it will also come with a secondary screen located at the top of the device. The 2nd screen’s resolution is set at 160 x 1040 and it measures 2.1 inches in size.

Other LG V20 specs: Quad-core Snapdragon 820 CPU, Adren0 530 GPU, 32GB and 64GB internal storage models, support for adding 256 GB external storage, 4GB RAM for the 32/64 GB storage models, and 6GB RAM for the 128 GB variants, 20MP back camera with OIS and LED flash, 8MP frontal duo camera, USB Type-C 1.0, fingerprint scanner, fast battery charging support, 4000 mAh removable battery.

The Android 7.0 Nougat OS comes with a tons of new features, but the LG V20 device should also pack tons of extra goodies added by LG, too. Nougat OS expands the previous Marshmallow OS and it brings a better Doze battery saver, it comes with native multi-window support,  bundled notifications, custom Quick Settings, Direct Reply support for notifications, Notification controls, seamless software updates, file-based encryption, Direct Boot, mobile Data Saver, and others more.
