Leaked Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Renders Show the Phablet from Every Angle

Back in February, at Mobile World Congress 2016, the guys at Samsung introduced us to their flagship smartphones for the year, the highly-anticipated Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The two new smartphones are available for purchase for quite some time and as the hype around them is starting to wear off, the media and the Samsung fans alike are turning their attention toward the next big thing from the South Korean company. Yes, that’s right, I’m talking about Galaxy Note 7.
The rumors and reports that surfaced online over the past few months have painted an almost complete picture of the Galaxy Note 7, allowing us to take a peek at the smartphones specs, software, and design. Many leaked photos leaked so far, but none of them were as clear as the ones in the gallery below.
South Korea’s Seeko has posted a batch of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 renders and by the looks of them they seem to be the real deal. The design of the phone looks exactly how most of the previous leaks have indicated, also confirming more color options for the device.
As expected, the design of handset is based on the one of its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge cousins, looking like an S7 Edge on steroids due to the larger, dual edge screen. The renders also show the S Pen stylus which, according to reports, is an upgrade over last year’s and comes with improved features.
As I was mentioning above, specs-wise, we already know almost everything about the yet-unannounced Galaxy Note 7. Most sources agree that the next-gen flagship phablet from Samsung will arrive with a 5.7-inc Super AMOLED panel with Quad HD resolution and curved around the edges of the phone.
As for the processor, Galaxy Note 7 is expected to arrive in two variants: one powered by Samsung’s in-house build Exynos 8890 SoC and the other underpinned by a Snapdragon 820 CPU or the new Snapdragon 823 CPU. We also know that the device will integrate a whooping 6 GB of RAM.
If the rumors are to believed, Galaxy Note 7 will use the same camera combo as Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. We are talking about a 12 MP rear-shooter with f/1.7 aperture and a 5 MP selfie cam. However, the rear camera might get a Super OIS module instead of the standard OIS used for the S7, whatever that means.
A while back, Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) confirmed that device will get 64 GB of on-board storage and that it will be compatible with microSD cards. There are also hints of a massive 4,000 mAh battery and USB Type C support.
As you may already know, Samsung will officially introduce the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2nd, during an Unpacked event held in New York and streamed online on the company’s Youtube channel. Stay tuned!
